What ideas / questions / reflections / challenges might be arising as you work with your theme (theme) – How are you working with the meaning of your word? Where are you drawing inspiration from?
Emerged makes me think of things or people coming to be; a baby emerges from its mother; trees emerge up through the ground. I want to focus on the natural world around me becoming into itself, growing, changing, settling.
How were you introduced to art? Was it someone, a class, a culture, family, friends, etc.?
I was lucky to have an amazing art teaching in High School that inspired and encouraged me to pursue art.
What role does art play in your life today? How has art made you feel these past few months / year / during the pandemic?
Art places the crucial part in my life of inspiring and giving me an outlet. Having that space to create & express has been a savior these last few years with such uncertain and hardships.
